Our next Town Hall meeting regarding the potential merger with Bow Valley will be on Monday November 14 at 6:45. Same location as our last one – McKenzie Towne Church (the big white church on the traffic circle in Mckenzie Towne).

The Bow Valley leadership team will be joining us to answer any questions and concerns you may have. Please continue to pray for what God has in store for His kingdom.

Prayers for Journey Church:
1. Please pray for God’s provision for Journey Church that we may meet the needs of our community, and Journey people.
2. Please pray for the finances at Journey Church.
3. Please pray for the all the ministries at Journey as we head into the fall season.
4. Please pray for all the people who serve at Journey that make things possible.

Day 30: Our Father’s Will

Scripture for today: John 6:35-40

Praise and Thanksgiving: We praise you Jesus, our bread of life; you alone satisfy all hunger and thirst forever! All glory and thanks be to you father for our eternal life in Christ Jesus!

Confess: our need for Jesus daily to thrive spiritually as much as we need bread and water to sustain our natural life.

Ask: Ask God to work in every heart and that the hope of Christmas will be the greatest gift offered and received in Jesus Christ.

Jesus is our bread of life the only one that can sustain us in this world. As much as we hunger and thirst for food and water we need to hunger and thirst for Jesus the word and his spirit to fill us and guide us.

Prayer: It is our father’s will that no one perish and all receive eternal life through you, Jesus.

We pray for salvation for everyone who is in need of you Jesus. Move and bring the lost to a greater understanding of you Jesus

Day 29: Boast that You Know Me!

Scripture for today Jeremiah 9:23-24, John 17:3

Praise and Thanksgiving: Praise our Eternal God that desires us to know him!

Confess: any lack of passion to know God more and to boast (lay claim to, enjoy,) about your relationship with God and Jesus with others.

Ask: Ask God to reveal someone to share your relationship with Jesus with this week. Ask for courage and boldness to invite them to a Sunday service.

In John 17:3 Jesus defines eternal life as an opportunity to personally know God and his son Jesus.

God tells us do not boast of wisdom, strength or prosperity, but boast that you know God.

Prayer: Thank you God, that you desire me to know you. You tell me to tell others about my relationship with you. I am sorry I fear what others think more than sharing. Help me this week to share you so others may know your love.

Day 28: Fight for Your Family

Scripture for today: Nehemiah 4:14-15

Praise and Thanksgiving: God we praise you! You are a great! You are our awesome God!

Confess: any fear or unbelief that God will be victorious in the salvation of a spouse, child or family members. Confess any lack of prayer for your spouse and family.

Ask: Ask God to frustrate the enemy’s plot against your loved ones. Ask God for perseverance and faith to fight for your family members and home.

The enemy wants you to believe that your loved ones will never be saved or turn back to God. It is your faith that pleases God, so fight for your family, fight the good fight of faith. Bring their names to the throne of God regularly in prayer, trust in God’s timing and way. (John 14:6)

Prayer: God I lift up to you, (lift up specific names). I pray for their salvation. It is your desire that none shall perish. Help me be faithful in prayer to fight for my family members that are lost or those who have turned from you.

Day 27: Never Unforgivable

Scripture for the day: Matthew 6:14-15

Praise and Thanksgiving: Thank Jesus for dying on the cross and to save you from your sins. Be grateful for the forgiveness you have been given.

Confess: Any unforgiving feelings you are harboring.

Ask: Jesus to show you how to forgive.

Jesus didn’t limit His forgiveness to only those who have not murdered or only to those who have never lied. If He can forgive all sin, how much more should we?

Prayer: Dear Lord, please help me to forgive those in my life who have sinned against me. In the bible, you command me to do so. Even though it isn’t easy, I know that I can through you. I’m asking you to show me how.

Day 26: Our Healer

Scripture for the day: Matthew 23-24

Praise and Thanksgiving: Thank God that he alone has the power to heal.

Confess: Any faith that you may lack in his infinite ability to heal.

Ask: God to strengthen your faith and remind you that he is able.

Do you limit the Creator of the world with your lack of faith in his ability? Sometimes we lose sight of the fact that Jesus has the infinite ability to heal any illness, any suffering, and any pain. Will he heal you or the one’s you love? That is for him to reveal in his time, but can he? Absolutely.

Prayer: Dear Jesus, today I am reminded that you are more powerful than any disease or suffering.

Thank you for reminding me that you are able.

Day 25: Honor and Glory

Scripture for the day: Luke 1:46-47

Praise and Thanksgiving: Thank you Lord for loving me.

Confess: Any complaints you may harbor in your thoughts.

Ask: God to be glorified in your life through praise and thanksgiving.

Mary was careful to give the Lord the credit, honor and glory for all that He had done and was doing in her life. She realized that apart from God, her circumstances would have been totally different.

Prayer: Lord, help me to serve you humbly, recognize my total need for you and to be careful to give you the glory for all that you choose to do in my life. In everything I want to give thanks to you and recognize that you deserve to be glorified.
