God

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons…Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that he died on the cross for our sins, arose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is coming again to judge the living and the dead. (Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 4:15; I Corinthians 15:3-4; John 14:3,1:1)

Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ during this age and that he convicts people, gives new life to sinful people, and indwells, guides, instructs and empowers the Christ-follower for godly living and service. (John 16:8-15; Titus 3:5)

The Bible

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, to be divinely inspired and authoritative for all facets of our lives (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Our understanding of Scripture is a work in progress, requiring humility and regular re-examination.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is a free gift given by God's grace and is received by faith in Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 3:21-25) We believe that God calls people to express their faith through repentance (Acts 2:38, 3:19), confession (Romans 10:9-10), and baptism (Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:3-4). Living in the way of Jesus is an ongoing process.

The Church

We believe the church, both universal and the local community of the redeemed, reflects the unity, diversity, and creativity of God through the identification and use of spiritual gifts.
