Journey Kids, like the rest of Journey, exists to encourage Journey's littlest members to journey closer to God, closer to each other and closer to the world in age appropriate environments.
We desire to be known for providing a place for kids to belong and to become. It’s important to us that kids find meaningful friendships with their peers, with adults who truly care about them as individuals and with those younger than them, friends that they can help guide on the Journey. Together, we are working to become more like Jesus and are learning to be the people that He created us to be.
We strive to do this through:
Generally, students move through several natural transitions in their lives. It is important for us to honor those transitions. As students grow together, we are mindful of the age and stage and how that influences how they react and relate to each other. Our children and youth generally meet together in the following age groups:
- Nursery (infant to age 3)
- Preschool (age 3 to 5)
- Elementary (kindergarten to grade 6)
- Junior High (grade 7 to 9)
- Senior High (grade 10 to 12)
